Informative Speech Topic- Albert Shanker
Introduction:
My labor union movement leader is Albert Shanker. He started
a just a substitute just to raise money for his dissertation. Albert became a
leader for the United Federation of Teachers, many of his ideas are still in
practice today
Specific Purpose Statement:
I want to inform my audience about Albert Shanker’s involvement
in education reform, and why Albert fought so hard for teacher’s rights.
Heading the United Federation of Teachers, Albert Shanker
was an aggressive leader that fought for teachers’ rights, we continue to see
his efforts in the public school system today.
